Age:
The customer who drives must be minimum 23 years old and must already possess the driving license for at least one year.
Driving License:
A valid national driving license must be provided along with a Passport or an
ID Card.
Free kilometers – Customers have unlimited free km:
Simple rent a car does not put daily kilometers limit. Feel free to drive and explore Crete.
All taxes included:
The price you pay is final. Please note that our prices are final including all taxes and services. We do not have hidden costs or secret charges.
Simple Rent a Car Service – Your chosen destination:
At your request, you can have the car delivered at your chosen destination.At departure you can leave the car again at your chosen destination.Such as the hotel or at the airport / port etc.
Full comprehensive insurance:
We provide the most competitive full insurance service on the market including:
personal accident Ιnsurance for all passengers of Simple Rent a Car
Fully comprehensive insurance
Full cover for Theft – Fire – Wheels – Tires – Windows – Mirrors. The underside of the car is not covered. The insurance is not valid if the customer won’t contact us immediately in case of an accident. The above insurance does not cover damages caused by breaches of the highway code , operation of the vehicle under the influence of drugs or alcohol or use of the rental car by any person not specifically named as driver or additional driver in the rental agreement.
A second driver with no extra charge:
No extra charge for the second driver.

Our prices are very competitive on the rent a car market including as many services possible for our customers with no further charge.
All day 24 hours road assistance:
Simple Rent a Car is there for you and provides a 24 hrs road service.
Privacy Policy:
Simple Rent a Car has respect for your privacy and we will not distribute your personal information to any third party which is not involved in your car rental enquiry. All information you provide to Simple Rent a Car is respected and safe.
Car replacement in a case a breakdown occures:
Our customers get a new car in such an event.
No additional charge has to be paid in case of a midnight arrivals:
Simple Rent a Car customers are not charged any extra cost in case there is a delay or for any reason their arrival at their destination (airport – port etc) is after 12 midnight.
No additional charge has to be paid on delay:
Simple Rent a car customers are not charged any extra costs in case their arrival at the Heraklion is delayed.
Road map of Crete provided for free:
A free road map of Crete is given to Simple Rent a Car’s customers. To help them get the most out of their holidays
In case our customer loses his keys:
Simple Rent a Car has chip-coded car keys for all their cars. Non the less, it takes effort and costs to find new ones.
So if a customer loses the car keys he will be charged with 50 -100 euros (depends on the car category).
Child seats & Baby seats are for free:
Simple Rent a Car puts your security first. We offer you the highest quality of child and baby seats.
In case our customers have to pay traffic fines:
Fines and subsequent administrative sanctions resulting from traffic violations during the rental period are at the renters expense.
Driving and Geographic Restrictions:
Our cars have to stay and be driven by the customer on Crete island only, unless the customer receives a permission of Simple Rent a Car.
Also they cannot be used on the beach or off-road. Damages to the underside of the car when driven off road are not covered by the insurance.
Insurance does not cover damages that are caused under drugs or other dangerous substances.
Cancellation policy terms:
Simple Rent a Car does not charge extra if the customer decides he wants to cancel his reservation for any reason 7 days before. In this case we refund the entire prepaid booking amount. If however the customer cancels his reservation in the last 7 days a 10% of the booking amount will be charged.
