Well if you haven’t, it is definetely a place in Crete that is worth visiting.
It is a small fishing village. Just 25 km away from Heraklion airport.
It combines nice beaches full of sand, restaurants, hotels small shops and apartments.

How to go to Agia Pelagia
If you arrive from Heraklion airport you can rent a car and visit Agia Pelagia. Agia Pelagia is about 25 minutes
away from Heraklion airport (25km distance). Another option is to arrange a transfer with your hotel, or to take the
Ktel buses or arrange a transfer by your own.
If you arrive from Heraklion port the procedure is the same as Heraklion airport as the port and the
airport are not as far from each other.

In all of their cooked food, as well as in salads they use pure olive oil from their our own production.
Most products that they use in their dishes come from local products of Crete.

Ligaria Beach
A wonderful beach with crystal waters. Fully organised with chairs and umbrella’s.
Next to the beach there are a lot of taverna’s and cafe’s.
The beach is sandy but in some places there are also stones inside the beach.
Agia Pelagia Beach
Great beach as well similar to Ligaria.. Great for kids, lots of good restaurants to eat at and things to do nearby.
Go early if you want a spot during busy seasons.This applies to all beaches in Agia Pelagia as they are highly touristic
especially on weekends.
Psaromoura Beach
This one is quite popular because of it’s beauty so you can imagine that it get’s overcrowded. So to secure a spot
visit it early. It requires to walk a small downhill to acess Psaromoura Beach but the end result will be worth it.
